For example, jump rings can be soldered or lobster clip connecting rings or bead carriers that allow traditional charms to fit Pandora bracelets, as well as some other brands.
At present this service will be free but at some point will have a charge associated with it.

Soldering Service
We have invested in a jewellery micro welding machine, which allows us to weld / solder some things. (For the purpose of clarity, we will refer to the welding as soldering)
For example, jump rings can be soldered or lobster clip connecting rings or bead carriers that allow traditional charms to fit Pandora bracelets, as well as some other brands.
At present this service will be free but at some point will have a charge associated with it.
Why solder?
Example: Lobster clip and Charm
You purchase a charm and a lobster clip.
The tiny clip connecting ring that would usually attach to the charm is what we call an open ring. It's open to allow the clip to be connected to the charm and then closed. Once closed, although tight, if the charm is caught, the pressure can open that tiny connecting ring, causing the charm to separate from the clip.
If the connecting ring is soldered, it means that the tiny connecting ring is no longer open and makes the connection a lot stronger for everyday wear and tear.
That's not to say that once soldered that nothing can break it. If you catch a charm on a door handle hard enough, it will break or disfigure the chain or clip.
You may ask why traditional charms with a jump ring, aren't soldered.
This is because if they were soldered then the customer would usually have to cut the ring to allow the jump ring to be opened and closed around the link of a traditional charm bracelet. Obviously defeating the purpose of having the jump ring soldered in the first place.
When can I use your soldering service?
Our soldering service can currently be used for soldering jump rings, connecting rings, Bead carriers (Pandora converters).
Most items that we sell that appear as a charm and lobster clip or charm and bead carrier, as one whole item, will usually be soldered, which is included in the pricing.
So, if you want to purchase a traditional charm and would like the jump ring to be soldered or if you purchase a lobster clip and charm or bead carrier and charm and would like the link to be soldered then please select this product so we can solder.
