POSTAGE PRICES

PackagingWe do not supply free gift boxes. They are available to purchase from the CASES - BOXES SECTION.  Items will NOT come cased or boxed unless it specifically states it in the description.

Most orders paid by 10AM Monday to Friday will usually be dispatched the same day, unless we are closed or it is an English Bank holiday.

NON UK destination orders couriers can take several days to start tracking.

Special Delivery is for next working day for the UK for which a signature IS required. It is guaranteed attempted delivery for next working day by 1PM.

If an item is purchased as special delivery on a Friday, Royal Mail now guarantee a delivery on a Saturday.  It is MUCH more unusual for a delivery on a Sunday, but can occur although we cannot choose it.


Please note that orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom. Any order that is delivered outside the United Kingdom, may be subject to taxes and or duty and or fees charged by your delivery company and country. We have no control over these fees and charges and urge you to check your country's regulations and laws and charges, as you the receiver, will have to pay if they are applicable.


Delivery times

This is where it gets difficult!  For the UK the only service that Royal Mail guarantees is Special Delivery with it's hefty premium in cost.  No other service is guaranteed.  Royal Mail has it's delivery "AIM", which to be honest is Pie in the Sky and rarely achieved! "2nd class 2-3 days and first class next day."

From experience, the reality is far from these and second or first class can be 1 to 10 days although usually closer to 3-5 days.  Even the tacked services can be the same BUT you can see the tracking as to how long at each tracking point.  One recent Tracked 48 took 12 days to be delivered.   The customer could see we dispatched on time but were still understandibly frustrated at Royal Mail's delays.

With International Delivery, it can be the same, whether you choose Standard International Tracked or Royal Mail internation Tracked.  The main difference is that Royal Mail packets will leave the UK quicker but they will both be processed by your country's national postal operator and delivered by them.

  • EG Destination USA > ship via Royal Mail.
  • Royal Mail collects and processes > USPS process in the USA and deliver
  • EG Destination USA > ship via Standard International Tracked.
  • DHL Collects the sack of international mail > Delivers to Deutsche Post UK > processes > Deutsche Post send to Germany > Forward to USA where USPS process in the USA and deliver.

  • EG Destination France > ship via Royal Mail.
  • Royal Mail collects and processes > La Poste process in France and deliver
  • EG Destination France > ship via Standard International Tracked.
  • DHL Collects the sack of international mail > Delivers to Deutsche Post UK > processes > Deutsche Post send to Germany > Forward to France where La Poste process in France and deliver.

RETURNS

(1) Please contact us and advise you want to return an item or order. 

(2) Goods must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

(3) Items are returned at the customers cost and remain the responsibility of the customer until arriving at our offices. Please obtain a proof of postage or receipt or send via a tracked service as sadly if your return is lost by Royal Mail the sender (yourself) has to claim and we will NOT be able to refund until we have the goods at our offices.

(4) Refunds can only be made to the originating account.  IE we can't give someone else the refund.

(5) Please return any boxes or bags that came with your order if returning a complete order.

(6) Please note we do not EXCHANGE items we will only refund.  This is due to the amount of time taken to process an exchange and the communication time between us and the customer in their new requirements.

(7) The customer is responsible for the items until they have arrived at our offices.

(8) The cost of the return postage is to be paid by the customer.
